The research centre of Elec-Tech group was established on June 1998. Dedicated to new product development and product enhancement, the research centre is well-equipped with both expertise and facilities.

In additional to our conventional strength in home appliances such as beverages, cooking and housekeeping we are actively working for the expansion and development into new business domain such as fitness & wellness, pool & spa as well as environmental care products.

We employ over 250 research professionals with specializations in different fields including standardizing, industrial design, mechanical engineering, and testing. Advanced research methods (thorough computerized design & quality simulation experiments) are practiced to ensure up-to-date design and sheer quality.

By the year 2003, we have been awarded 94 national patents, 8 worldwide patents (5 from America, 3 from Germany), over 20 technical patents. We have received 513 safety certificates, in which 150 UL certificates, 110 CUL certificates, 77 CE certificates, 105 GS certificates, 62 EMC certificates and 9 CCC certificates. Our research institute has been appointed as a supportive department in constructing “Engineering-technology R&D Centre of intellectualized mini-electrical appliances” in Guangdong Province.
